Why this particular model and what I took into consideration, and what I believe you should also consider when choosing:
- Wide-angle fisheye camera and high resolution
- Metal practically vandal-proof housing / various mounting options: recessed and two surface-mounted versions
- Compact size of the intercom / modern design
- Power over Ethernet for both the intercom and the monitor (or monitors) / two-wire connection
- Dedicated mobile app (you can also answer calls on your phone) and possibly let the courier in over the fence to leave a package if no one is home.
- Integration with a video recorder
- Messages in Polish language.
- Door opening from the mobile app - important when no one is home.
And now, the most important thing, Dahua has models for multi-family homes with support for "bells/key codes". Only two wires are needed to connect the door station. In this case, an additional module is required, but having 4 wires gives you a spare. Personally, I had a cable for the gate so I didn't need to buy this module.
DAHUA has been working for me for 3 years - no problems at all, so I recommend it
