I definitely recommend old fairy tales. I used to play Franklin the Turtle, Winnie the Pooh, Gummibär, The Smurfs, Bolek and Lolek to my children. Just those fairy tales that I watched. I didn't play new and popular fairy tales because I saw the same thing in them as you did.

I still have about 2 years of telling bedtime stories to my daughter, but I heard, for example, that Peppa Pig is not really that great because it presents a poor image of the father. I mainly show my children classic fairy tales, such as "Cinderella," "Alice in Wonderland," or "Snow White." I believe that these fairy tales not only entertain but also teach values and morals. Old fairy tales are full of wisdom and valuable messages, which is why I believe it is worth showing them to children. Many new fairy tales have cool graphics and special effects, but often lack educational and moral values. That is why I prefer classics, which are timeless and always relevant.

Captain Planet was cool, at least the heroes had some worthy moral standards to convey.

A lot depends on the age of the children. For 5-10 year olds: 1. Misiowanki (underrated gem) 2. Once Upon a Time... Life (classic) 3. The Magic School Bus (even my teenager is refreshing it lately) 4. Marta mówi 5. My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic (definitely the first 3 seasons are good, I don't know about the later ones)

I watch old cartoons, but also some new ones like Little Lucy's Zoo, Cat-o-Ciaki, The Rabatki Family, Puffin Island, The Forest Family, Franklin, and The Mole. I can't stand Masha and the Bear the most. The behavior of that girl overwhelms me.
