I have been actively following the development of the project for a long time and I also have my point of view. Well, the originator of the name is probably the CEO of the project, Piotr Michalak.

The graphic notation of two connected letters cc alludes to a lemniscate, an overturned eight, actually - the symbol of infinity. The word found, on the other hand, refers to the passive voice of find, but is not related to founding.

The name ccfound in simple words can be boiled down to the following theorem:
Wisdom is infinite, and you too will find it if you like.

Well, 'ccFound' when read correctly should sound like 'see see found', i.e. 'see see found' (in the simplest translation)
The name very aptly plays with words and describes what we can expect from the application :)

And I thought the name had something to do with Carbon Copy (CC used when we want to include someone as a recipient in the e-mail we send.
