For a while, I played with making such loans for small amounts on three different platforms, and from my perspective, it is not worth it. Why?

I got the impression that there were a lot of crooks out there who had learned how to present the right story, raise funds from investors, and then cut off all contacts. Of course, they pay off their obligations at first to get good grades from the lenders because that is how they build their credibility, but at some point they collect more money, pay off one or two installments (and sometimes none), and that's it. Then they do not reply to messages, and the platforms, despite the aid declared in their regulations, do nothing to recover the payment. Maybe the interventions are only at higher amounts, it's hard for me to say.

In my case, the cooperation ended so that I granted several loans for PLN 100, two of which have not been repaid until today. As a result, I am on a slight downside, because the rest of them were fortunately regained. However, I got discouraged by this form of investment, also by ignoring my e-mails by the service staff. I would understand if they could not help me for formal reasons, but a complete lack of response is just plain rudeness and leaving the client alone with the problem. In short, I do not recommend it.

In my opinion, this way of investing is not a very good method. Loaning money to someone you don't know about can be quite risky. In addition, I believe that many offers can be issued from fake accounts, or verified using fake documents.

The returns on investment that are offered by the platforms are also not super high. In my opinion, it is much better to invest in cryptocurrencies or gold. This will allow us to limit the risk, e.g. thanks to the stop-loss function.

I believe that peer-to-peer lending can be an interesting investment option, but one must remember the risk associated with lending to private individuals. It is important to thoroughly research the platforms we want to work with, check their credibility and the conditions under which they lend. It is also worth considering our investment strategy and spreading the risk across several different loans to minimize potential losses.
