Should students be given homework by teachers?

For several days now, discussions about assigning homework to students by teachers have not ceased. Opinions are divided. Some of society believes that children should definitely not be required to do additional homework after school because it is burdensome for both the children and their parents. After school, children have no time to play because they have to prepare assignments from several subjects for the next day. There are also opponents of this theory who are afraid that by abolishing homework, society will be less educated. What do you think about this? Do you believe that homework should be abandoned? Or is it better if homework stays, but is not graded? Share your thoughts.
