How to provide liquidity on Uniswap v3.0?

Hi. Can anyone explain to me how to provide liquidity on Uniswap v3. I would like to add some UNI/ETH pairs to the liquidity pool but I am struggling with these new features. Thanks

Uniswap in its new version 3.0 introduced something like concentrated liquidity. This means that the user is not forced to allocate liquidity to the price from zero to infinity, instead, you can concentrate your capital in the price ranges you set.

If you have a liquidity pool in the previous version of uniswap, you can transfer it by adding a pricing framework that suits you.

I will briefly describe how to create a new pool:

Select the pair option - here you have to choose two different tokens that you want to add.

Then you choose the level of fees - The commission level of 0.05%, which is ideal for pairs of stablecoin Dai-Usdt tokens, The level of 0.30% is best suited to other popular token pairs, e.g. Eth-Dai in this case the higher fee is more likely offsets the price fluctuations for this pair. The 1.00% commission level is intended for lesser-known token pairs that are particularly exposed to sharp price fluctuations.

Then set the starting price only if you are creating pools that have not been created yet. It must determine the current market price of both tokens (there is a switch in the upper right corner), if you set a price that is significantly different from the market price, you risk immediate arbitrage, so you need to carefully check the prices.

Then you set the price range - here you need to set the price range in which you provide liquidity. Depends on the fee level you choose, the system will automatically offer price adjustments in increments of 0.10%, 0.60% or 2.00%

If the market price exceeds the range you specify, the position will not make profit until the price returns to that range.

You must always add the deposit amount 50/50, then approve and add - at the beginning, you will see the permission for the contract to use these tokens. Once you have approved the transactions on the blockchain, your LP tokens will appear in a pop-up window where you can add capital or completely cancel and withdraw capital.

Sure! Providing liquidity on Uniswap v3 is slightly different from previous versions. Here is a step-by-step guide: Connect your wallet to Uniswap v3 platform. Click on "Pool" on the top menu. Choose the UNI/ETH pair you want to provide liquidity for. Enter the amount of UNI and ETH you want to add to the pool. Set your price range and position size according to your preference. Review and confirm your transaction. Approve the transaction in your connected wallet. Once you have completed these steps, your liquidity will be added to the UNI/ETH pool on Uniswap v3. I hope this helps!
