What tire for a 16'' rim for a spare wheel, if the other wheels have 17'' rims?
There is no space for a spare wheel in my car. Originally, a repair kit is apparently used - but it has its drawbacks. Comprehensive car insurance doesn't always come in handy, because for example they will deliver the car to the nearest workshop, but if it is a day off, it won't help at all. For longer trips, I prefer to take a full-size spare wheel (and for local driving, such a wheel can stay at home - in case of a day off at the workshops, which has already happened to me). And now. I have 17'' wheels. The easiest way would be to buy the same size wheel and attach it. But can an emergency wheel be installed on a 16'' wheel with a correspondingly "taller" tire? Currently, I have 225/50ZR17 tires.
