Do you have to pay income tax for private tutoring?
Let's assume that a physical person is giving private lessons. On average, they give 10 lessons per month, collecting 40 PLN for each lesson. The revenue for the first 6 months of 2023 is: 10 lessons x 40 PLN x 6 months = 2400 PLN. Let's assume that the person will not continue this job until the end of the year. According to the current regulations in Poland in 2023, will this person have to pay income tax on this revenue? If so, how much?
