I sent BCH incorrectly to the BTC address - can it be recovered?

Hello. I have a problem because I am a beginner and I sent Bitcoin Cash to my Ledger Nano X wallet but to my Bitcoin account. I don't know if somehow I can get my BCH back. How can I report it? I wrote to Ledger and to my exchange. There's nothing they can do. What should I do next?

It seems to me that unfortunately you will not get your money back. The money is stuck somewhere in the network and unfortunately it is a risk associated with cryptocurrencies.

Sending Bitcoin Cash to a Bitcoin address can be a common mistake for beginners. Unfortunately, once the transaction is confirmed, it is very difficult to recover the funds. However, there may still be some steps you can take: Double check with Ledger or your exchange if there are any possible solutions or recovery options available. Reach out to the customer support of the wallet or platform you sent the funds from and explain the situation in detail. Consider contacting a professional cryptocurrency recovery service, but be cautious as there are many scams in this industry. As a learning experience, always double check the destination address before making a transaction in the future to avoid such mistakes. Unfortunately, there is no guarantee that you will be able to recover your Bitcoin Cash, but it's worth exploring all possible options. Good luck!
