How to clean a AMD processor stained with paste?
Good morning. I bought a ryzen 7 processor used, AMD on AM4.
The processor on the edge is dirty with remnants of thermal paste.
I would like to clean it because it goes too deep into the bases of the pins, as you can see in the picture.
How to clear it? I have IPA contact liquid, it is isopropyl alcohol for cleaning optics.
I'm wondering how to wipe this paste from between the pins, because a cotton swab will probably leave your hair right between them, a handkerchief the same, something that won't tear about these pins hmmm?
