Is it possible to saw off an unnecessary 3-fin radiator in the kitchen?
Is it possible to saw off the redundant 3-fin radiator in the kitchen along with the pipes, because you cannot put a taller fridge?
This radiator has been closed for 15 years anyway. There is a counter on it that measures 0 consumption. I don't need that radiator in the kitchen. The apartment is in a block belonging to a housing cooperative. It was purchased as an ownership right to the premises. What can you do about it? A 3-fin radiator is useless, because it only takes up space along with the pipes leading to it - from the vertical 2 pipes that are on top and pass through the kitchen vertically. Technically, you could saw off at the very vertical that goes through the apartment, weld it and that's it. The question is whether it is possible to do such things. I can already imagine that the cooperative will agree... I don't care much, but I am interested in whether it can be done legally? The fridge that fits is up to 165 cm in height. 200 cm is needed. This limits a lot, so my question is, is there any way to do this? Thank you.
