Client-server communication security. SSL
I want to run a platform only for my clients (around 20) to a web server where there is data that I don't necessarily want to make publicly available to everyone.
I read about something like client authentication by certificate.
The client has its own SSL certificate and authenticates with it on the server before further communication takes place. I know it's down on my side to snatch the certificate and help clients get it up and running for the first time.
They have certificates here.
https://www.ssl.com/pl/certificates/client-authentication-certificates/
Do you think that the introduction of such certificates will increase the level of security?
Does it make sense to protect yourself this way?
