Where on the web to find short, reliable, objective information on current, important events in Poland and in the world? So that you can be up to date with what's going on. Best served in a form that does not absorb much time and attention.
Are there places or people on the web that filter out all that news (news) and pass on only what is really relevant? If you know of such, please provide, with a brief justification, why.
I am asking because I can no longer look at articles presented by large portals such as onet.pl, wp.pl, interia.pl, etc., the vast majority of which are irrelevant news, reading which is really a waste of time. And in particular, I can't look at the titles of these articles that are constructed in such a way as to brutally, on a subconscious level, force a person to click and read. Then just click and start reading to realize that this content has no value, and the portal was just about attracting the user's attention to click. Don't they see that they are losing users with this approach to "content production"?
I ask because I can't listen to the news on TV for a long time - instead of reliable information that I would expect, I get depending on the station:
- On TVP, let's say important news at the beginning, and the next 20 minutes of news with a very strong political flavor praising the activities of the current government, justifying why Poland is so good and what they especially like - slandering all political opponents in every possible way, completely without hiding it no subtleties.
- On the other hand - in commercial stations (TVN and Polsat probably too) similar, only that in reverse 2 let's say important news at the beginning, and then all the rest - pointing out mistakes and stigmatizing the actions of the current government, accusing, pulling out all possible slips.
There is no filtering of what is important and what is not. There is no objectivity.
Repeating the question - are there places or people on the web who filter all this enormity of news (news) and pass on only what is really important - in a matter-of-fact and objective way? If you know of such, please provide, with a brief justification, why.
