LIDLOMIX a THERMOMIX

I'm seriously considering buying one, but I don't know which one to choose. Has anyone had any experience with both of these devices? What are your opinions? Are there any significant differences between them?

I have a Lidlomix. It is easy to use, has a lot of built-in recipes, but you can also log in and access recipes via wi-fi. It mixes all kinds of cakes, salads well, steams perfectly. I definitely recommend it, if someone does not cook professionally, Lidlomox is enough.

I had the opportunity to test LIDLOMIX MONSIEUR CUISINE SMART and THERMOMIX TM6. The devices are very close to each other. Both work with applications and you can create dishes from both the Lidlomix and Thermomix websites. When it comes to the programs that these devices have, they are very similar to each other.

Pros of Lidlomix: The new version has a handle similar to the Thermomix, which makes it easier to remove and pour soups or smoothies. It also has a larger bowl than the Thermomix.

The disadvantages are, above all, frequent hangs, and the scale shows an increased value with a delay when adding the product. It is also much louder than the Thermomix. The turnover is half that of the competitor, which translates into the quality of the prepared dishes and often requires repeating the activities. Lidlomix has a simple brush motor with a fan and is driven by a gear and V-belt. Here, unfortunately, problems arise when the drive overheats or the brushes wear out. Then the device must be sent to the service for a longer period of time. Another disadvantage is that this equipment does not have washing modes, unlike its competitor. It also reaches a lower temperature, which makes it not very suitable for frying, and burns often occur when cooking.

When it comes to equipment, both devices look similar, with a minimal advantage for the Thermomix, where we get an additional pot cover that facilitates evaporation. Other accessories are practically the same for both devices, they differ slightly in appearance, but they perform the same functions.

Both devices give us similar possibilities, such as preparing soup, salad, dessert, as well as making a cake without using additional tools. However, they differ significantly in the time of performing activities and the quality of performance.

Another advantage of the Thermomix is its smaller size, so if you have a small kitchen and a small countertop area, then this feature may be crucial for you. The display is sensitive and precise. The equipment works smoothly, quickly and does not overheat even when we use it for several hours. The Thermomix motor is durable and, above all, runs quietly. The maximum turnover is 10,700, which is twice as much as Lidlomix has. Unlike the competitor, it has several washing modes, which saves time. Another important advantage of this device is the ability to try it out at a presentation, i.e. before buying.

To sum up, in my opinion Thermomix is definitely better than its competitor. First of all, they differ by at least several levels of quality, and the materials used to make Thermomix have all the necessary certificates, unlike Lidlomix, whose manufacturer does not inform about the origin of the materials from which individual elements are made or about the certificates they have. Lidlomix is also much larger than Thermomix and has much fewer preloaded recipes and lacks many features unlike its competitor. Despite the high price of the Thermomix, I believe that buying a cheaper Lidlomix is not the best solution, even taking into account the fact that we will use the more expensive one for many years, and the cheaper one will need to be replaced after 2-3 years, so its purchase is not worth it anyway it will be cheaper. Alternatively, Lidlomix may be a better option for those who only plan to use it occasionally rather than on a daily basis.

Here is my opinion on Lidlomix and Thermomix: Personally, I have no contact with Lidlomix, but I have experience in using Thermomix. It is an extremely versatile kitchen appliance that can replace many other kitchen tools, such as a blender, mixer, meat grinder, jigsaw and many more. One of the significant differences between Thermomix and Lidlomix is the quality and brand. Thermomix is a product with a well-known and respected brand on the market, and Lidlomix is Lidl's own brand. However, this does not mean that Lidlomix is a worse choice - it may offer similar functionalities at a lower price. After-sales support is also important to me. Thermomix has a team of consultants who will help you with any problems or questions, and offer training on how to use the product. I don't know if Lidlomix offers similar support. To sum up, if you care about a branded product and after-sales support, it is worth investing in Thermomix. However, if you are looking for similar quality at a lower price then Lidlomix may be a good choice. It is also worth reading user reviews and carefully analyzing the functionalities of each equipment before making a decision.
