How to plan workouts as a beginner?
The topic is a river... nooooo... more like an ocean, there is so much of it. But to not keep you here too long, start with small steps. They build our foundation. Will Smith once, as a kid, built a wall with bricks next to his father's store. It scared him because the wall was supposed to be bigger than him. Seeing that uncertainty in Will's eyes, his father told him something I remember very well from that story. He looked him in the eyes and said: "Don't think about the wall. Just think about that one brick and place it properly." The conclusion? That in moments of overwhelm, we must focus on the process at hand. So that the action we are taking is a solid foundation for executing our project.
For those starting training, I encourage you to download a simple free planner from our group, in which I recommend writing down one exercise for each day and sticking to it. 5 minutes max, but systematic.
Sunday is intentionally the largest, because it will be the day when most of you will dedicate time to write down 3 points to accomplish.
1. Contact a person you value and make them aware of why they are special (taking care of someone).
2. Focus on calm but deep breathing and train your diaphragm (taking care of yourself).
3. Plan the execution of tasks for the next week (taking care of your environment).
These are examples, but focus on what I wrote in parentheses. Adapt it to your current needs.
Take care. In this mid-November.
