Deficit of public finances for the year 2025

Roughly the budget for 2025:
900 billion in expenditures
600 billion in revenues
300 billion budget deficit, which is how much money is missing.

And now the conclusion: taxes will have to be raised - because even if someone lends us that much:
1. The servicing costs will be high.
2. Next year the deficit will be even bigger (because it will have to be repaid).

The current budget is of course a joint work of PiS and PO because it results from the inflated expenditures under PiS and the lack of limitation of these expenditures under PO. Moreover, a lot of these expenditures were supported by PO in votes: such as armaments and 800+.

We are falling into a debt spiral and it will not be easy to escape from it.

Conclusion: we need to maintain a high level of asset flexibility so that we can escape from the next, inevitable taxes as needed.

Everything is true, it's a pity that ordinary people do not see this problem on a daily basis, for them what matters is what someone promises them, 800+, villa +, grandma's money, etc. They will vote for any populist as long as they promise a lot. They do not realize the consequences of such handouts, that it only leads to a catastrophe of state finances and an increase in taxes in various forms, both direct and indirect. The state has to take from something to be able to give later, which is why some taxes like VAT or excise duty are constantly being raised. This should end as soon as possible because the consequences can be severe.

But the same is true for the current money that the Prime Minister promised to the flood victims for the reconstruction of their homes - I also wonder where he will get it from given the current state of the Polish economy. It is equally sickening that Jurek Owsiak is collecting funds for the country's large needs, because the state is so inept that it cannot purchase some basic equipment for hospitals. What kind of landscape does this give the state?

The landscape is such that the Prime Minister boasted about what he ate in the flood-affected areas, a certain singer helped clean up in an outfit like on stage, famous artists created a cover of an old song, and everyone agreed that the matter was settled. People have nowhere to live for the winter, but the topic has quieted down quite a bit and the media hardly cares about it anymore.

People should organize themselves in this matter and rely on each other, and a significant role should be played by neighborly and local self-help. I personally have met many such community activists who, working hard and anonymously, help in everything, giving hope that we have deep down in our hearts values such as faith, hope, and love. Such people should manage this state - just and reliable. Real help and its organization instead of promising stolen millions.

In general, the situation is such that it is after the flood, the water has receded. The destruction is enormous, 90% of the houses are still at the stage of tedious and time-consuming drying, let alone talking about renovations or looking for furniture. I know - because I am personally involved in such activities and it is a very demanding task.

Often a Pole will not only not help another Pole, but will even hinder and hate. I guess this is our sad national trait, not just a stereotype. There are nations that cooperate with each other in a foreign country for their own benefit as business partners and try to show the good sides of their country and identity. And they always unite in poverty and oppression, seeking solutions.
