30. 08 "Look at all earthly matters as if you were just passing through here"
1/3
Let us draw from Thomas à Kempis.
Are the affairs of this world terribly bad?
Are all pleasures and delights worthless?
Is everything I encounter hell on earth?
.. am I here permanently or just passing through?
Why do I value this attachment to earthly matters? to life’s comfort.
Can I manage without this? does my life even make sense without that?
Is my freedom shrinking or growing?
What have I realistically seen this year, what people, what problems, what matters? What matters did I not neglect?
This year I was in.. and got involved in.. 😊
I was in.. and got to know.. well 😊
I went to.. and spent some honest time with them😊
Stop📸
I will experience this day in the key of a good tourist, who is just passing through:
- I will not attach too much importance to what I have,
- I will engage maximally in the reality that meets me, not just looking for attractions and emotions in it, but its authenticity.
Simply put: FREEDOM & ENGAGEMENT - the recipe for today!
*The words more or less come from Adam Szustak OP's book “Szusta rano Przedkawowy pandowo-filozoficzno-śmieszno-filmowy codziennik motywacyjny”
The author writes: while reading the diary, let us do everything to ensure that our life is not just drifting from shore to shore, lazily bouncing off events and people, but that it is a true firecracker, 🌋 of good and meaning leading to salvation.

Business-wise:
I will learn my craft well and will never stop learning it*
*"How to Survive and Succeed in Business" Frank Bettger
3/3
Psychologically:
As followers of Jesus, we do not always hear the full content of His teaching on the commandment of love (Mk 12,29-31).
I will think - I cannot love others because I cannot love myself properly.
Do I accept my own flaws and mistakes? Events from the past?
Healthy love for oneself allows me to share the good part of myself with others, and thanks to what is weak and fragile in me, I can understand and love others even deeper.
- from the book by Piotr Kwiatek "Love God and don't be afraid to be happy"
