Once, wolves spread seeds by traversing dozens of kilometers every night. During their journey, seeds clung to their fur and fell in different places, where new plants grew.
But since wolves have gone extinct in England, dogs are used instead. Dogs carry holey backpacks filled with seeds, which they spread along the march route.
