NATO: Poland is preparing for World War III

World War III is closer than ever before, as revealed by the recent events when the governments of countries at the recent NATO summit in Washington disclosed their plans for the next step. They want to throw more money, weapons, and soldiers to defeat Russia. Interesting were the statements of Gen. Wiesław Kukuła, Chief of the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces, about how his country is preparing its soldiers for full-scale conflict in the coming days. "Today we must prepare our forces for full-scale conflict, not asymmetrical conflict" - Kukula said at a press conference. "This forces us to find the right balance between border mission and maintaining the intensity of military training." Kukula's reference to the "border mission" was related to the ongoing tensions with Russia's neighbor and ally - Belarus. Belarus is part of the "Union State" cooperating with Russia. Poland recently launched a $2.5 billion program called the “Eastern Shield” aimed at better protecting Poland's border with Belarus. In 2021, during the "plandemic," the European Union accused Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko of deliberately flooding the Polish border with migrants from the Middle East as part of hybrid warfare. China recently began conducting military exercises in Brest, Belarus, a city located just a few kilometers from the Polish border. "Speaking at the same event, Deputy Defense Minister Paweł Bejda said that as of August, the number of soldiers guarding Poland's eastern border will be increased to 8,000 from the current 6,000, and an additional reserve of 9,000 people will be able to increase within 48 hours." Poland shows a "muscular, hawkish stance towards Russia" Currently, Poland has around 190,000 personnel in its army. The goal is to increase this number to 300,000 in the coming years. Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk recently met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to sign what the media referred to as an "unprecedented" military agreement. This treaty allows Poland to intercept Russian missiles over Ukrainian territory whenever such weapons threaten Poland and its population. Since Russia invaded Ukraine in early 2022, Poland has maintained, as described by one media outlet, a "muscular, hawkish stance towards Russia," which has repeatedly involved rejecting any attempts at a peaceful resolution to the conflict. Just last week, Polish President Andrzej Duda reiterated previous statements that Ukraine cannot give any territory to Russia as a condition for peace. "If there is anyone who wants to give a piece of Ukrainian land to Russia, who is not Ukrainian, let him give a piece of his land to Russia, because it is easy to give up a piece of someone else's land" - said Duda. "I would like this war to end as soon as possible. However, it cannot end, it cannot end with Russia's victory because if that were to happen, we would soon have another war, as Russia would attack again." President Joe Biden also spoke at the NATO summit about an important match, declaring that Ukraine will eventually somehow defeat Russia, even though all currently available evidence points to Russia's victory. "Ukraine can and will stop Putin" - Biden announced.
