NATO: Poland is preparing for World War III

World War III is closer than ever before, as revealed by the recent events when the governments of countries at the recent NATO summit in Washington disclosed their plans for the next step. They want to throw more money, weapons, and soldiers to defeat Russia. Interesting were the statements of Gen. Wiesław Kukuła, Chief of the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces, about how his country is preparing its soldiers for full-scale conflict in the coming days. "Today we must prepare our forces for full-scale conflict, not asymmetrical conflict" - Kukula said at a press conference. "This forces us to find the right balance between border mission and maintaining the intensity of military training." Kukula's reference to the "border mission" was related to the ongoing tensions with Russia's neighbor and ally - Belarus. Belarus is part of the "Union State" cooperating with Russia. Poland recently launched a $2.5 billion program called the “Eastern Shield” aimed at better protecting Poland's border with Belarus. Just last week, Polish President Andrzej Duda reiterated previous statements that Ukraine cannot give any territory to Russia as a condition for peace. "If there is anyone who wants to give a piece of Ukrainian land to Russia, who is not Ukrainian, let him give a piece of his land to Russia, because it is easy to give up a piece of someone else's land" - said Duda. "I would like this war to end as soon as possible. However, it cannot end, it cannot end with Russia's victory because if that were to happen, we would soon have another war, as Russia would attack again."
