Do you think it's possible to actually get a client on platforms like LinkedIn?

I have had a LinkedIn account for many years. Most of my network of contacts are naturally people from the automotive industry, in which I worked for a long time. I have been running my company since 2019, although previous years as an additional job, and for almost a year full-time. Although I do not lack clients, I would like to look for a slightly different segment. Now I mainly work with small companies from the beauty and fashion industry. Maybe the experience with LinkedIn and the automotive industry is such that people there mainly "collect followers" than they are business-oriented, and when they get into business, they do it blindly, sending messages that are not adapted to the recipient. Do you use this platform? Do you think you can do business there and find good clients?
