In Greece, there is a 6-day work week, while the rest of the EU is considering a 4-day work week.

Many EU countries are thinking about reducing the length of the workweek, including Poland. On the contrary, Greece will implement a 6-day workweek starting from the beginning of July. As early as 2012, three bodies - the European Commission, the ECB, and the IMF - wanted Greeks to introduce this and they got what they wanted. In Poland, alongside Greece, people work the longest in the week on average 40 hours. The Left is advocating for a 35-hour workweek, with Czarzasty stating at a conference - I wanted to propose the first, strong demand of the Polish Left — a 35-hour workweek. Work is not the only element of life — declared the politician. But where is the cult of work, where people get rich through hard but also smart work, after all, every day, hours, minutes we perform some task, work at home, garden, job. It is offered in exchange for social benefits, raising the minimum wage, and soon basic income. Discouraging work proceeds in favor of a basic income.
