Something broke.

Such a situation this morning around 5:30. Due to lack of time, just before leaving for work, I did not pay attention to the temperature shown by the thermometer outside the window. I leave the house and on the way to the car I see frost on the grass. There was a light frost. After a moment of scraping the front windshield of frost, I got into the car and set off. I was somewhat surprised when the external temperature sensor, through the display built into the dashboard of the cockpit, claimed that the temperature outside was 11°C on the plus side. In the afternoon, on the way back home, I saw +25°C on the display. This at this time of year (early spring in Poland) is also rather unlikely. In reality, it could have been around 15°C; it was beautiful, sunny weather. What could be the cause of this situation? - Sensor failure or wear, located under the right rearview mirror? - Some malfunction on the CAN bus? - Or maybe something else?
