Beliefs and relationships helpful in managing money: Adjust your goals
We often compare ourselves to other people and want to have in life what they have, even though usually our situation is different and we don't actually need it. We then set ourselves impossible, unattainable, or unnecessary goals because we don't take into account our individual situation. It is good to set such goals where money is just a means, not a specific amount that we want to have, because the amount is less important and less motivating for us.
