Kaczyński in Elbląg: This means the end of the rule of law in Poland.

On October 15th, we will be choosing between security and whether decisions concerning our country will be consulted with Berlin or Brussels. Donald Tusk's announcements about what he will do after winning the elections mean the end of the rule of law in Poland - emphasized Jarosław Kaczyński, Deputy Prime Minister and President of Law and Justice, in Elbląg on Wednesday.

The most important elections

The leader of Law and Justice began his speech at the meeting with the residents of Elbląg by reminding that it was in this city in 1989 that he started his legal political career. As he emphasized, today, just like in 1989, we are facing the most important elections.

"Those elections determined the course of events in Poland - of course, in different conditions, in different circumstances - and these elections will also determine that. Let's refer to our slogan "Secure future for Poles". For us, this slogan is not empty. It expresses something that we have done, are doing, and intend to do, in various dimensions of security," stated the President of Law and Justice.

Kaczyński referred to the issue of social security for seniors. "We are doing everything to increase pensions. (...) When it comes to this kind of security, our opponents, led by Donald Tusk, did not really care about it," he assessed.

President of Law and Justice: If we didn't defend ourselves, there would have been a great destabilization of the country

"This is one aspect. But there is also another aspect, related to security in a more colloquial sense. This is related to our borders, this is related to various types of EU plans, compulsory relocations - it means that we don't want what is happening in many Western European countries, which are having huge problems with migrants, which have already cost the lives of many people and disrupted the normal functioning of society. (...) It's not the case in our country, and that is a matter of security," said the President of Law and Justice.

"Let's remind ourselves of our opponents - they said that there are basically no limitations when it comes to the number of potentially accepted migrants. (...) And what about the border (between Poland and Belarus)? What was happening there - Tusk came and said that we should also add power lines to it - it means he wanted to compare it to the obstacles, fences that were around concentration camps... Something disgusting. We are defending ourselves after all. These are not genuine migrants, these are people brought in by Lukashenko, and ultimately by Putin, to destabilize Poland," added the President of Law and Justice.

As he emphasized, "if we didn't defend ourselves," there would be "great destabilization of the country," and Poland would have been excluded from the system supporting Ukraine attacked by Russia. "That was the plan. Thanks to us, thanks to the fence, it failed, but it could have succeeded," emphasized Kaczyński.

Kaczyński: Women's hell was during the rule of PO

The President of Law and Justice referred in his speech to the slogan promoted by the opposition and its supporters, "women's hell." As he emphasized, the real women's hell was during the rule of PO-PSL.

"They raised the retirement age for women. Under the rule of PO-PSL, women were not protected from domestic abusers. Today, women and children are protected," Kaczyński pointed out.

President of Law and Justice on Rafal Trzaskowski: Extremely leftist

The President of Law and Justice's speech also included a reference to the Mayor of Warsaw. The politician warned voters about him and highlighted the difference between him and Donald Tusk.

"Let's not be fooled by Rafał Trzaskowski! Tusk doesn't have views, but Trzaskowski is extremely leftist. In this campaign, various tactics will be used, and we have to be vigilant about them," he cautioned.

"Do you want to be citizens or a population?"

The President of Law and Justice also spoke during the meeting in Elbląg about the planned referendum on October 15th, which - he stressed - "is the highest form of direct democracy."

"And these 'democrats' claim that combining the referendum with elections is an abuse. But the point is to have the highest possible turnout, people in Poland have had difficulties in deciding in referendums and we had to extend those referendums to two days, as was the case with joining the EU, in order to achieve the necessary number of voters. We simply want to combine these two things," he said. As he emphasized, this is in accordance with the law.

"So, in short, we have two situations here: a choice between security, broadly understood, and those who do not want to ensure that security because they simply have decision-makers outside of Poland. If someone didn't believe it so far and said that it was our propaganda, then if they watched the latest episode, yesterday's film 'Reset,' of that film series, they could see that even the issue of pensions was negotiated with Mrs. Merkel. Ladies and gentlemen, do you want such a Poland, in which decisions concerning purely internal matters, concerning Polish affairs, will be negotiated in Berlin or even in Brussels? Do you want to be citizens or a population?" asked the President of Law and Justice.
