Citi Bank closed my account.

I recently decided to open an account at Citi Bank Handlowy in Warsaw. I took care of everything online. After a few days, I received a debit card and a password for logging in by mail. Everything was normal until I received a phone call from the bank. A polite lady introduced herself as an employee of Citi Bank and mentioned that she was calling regarding a certain irregularity that they detected during the verification of my documents at the bank. I was greatly surprised. We continued the conversation, and the lady explained that according to the scan of my ID card, it appeared that I do not have a registered address. This surprised me even more. You see, I have had an ID card for 9 years, which I use everywhere. Furthermore, I have an electronically verified ID card, and it also does not indicate a registered address. No one has ever questioned this before, neither the police, nor the prosecutor's office where I was interrogated, nor the court, nor other banks. Indeed, my ID card does not include a registered address because it is not required. We only report our place of residence through a statement. But Citi Bank thinks differently. They challenged the most important state document and deemed it invalid. I insisted on my position, but the bank closed my account. Citi Bank Handlowy in Warsaw.
