"Stare dusze" i ich relacje. "Old souls" and their relationships.
♦️WHY IS IT DIFFICULT FOR OLD SOULS TO FIND AND CREATE A TRULY SATISFYING RELATIONSHIP?♦️ "...The biggest challenge for mature Old Souls is to find love during their current incarnation. Why? Old Souls feel deeper, they are more mature, which means they have a need for authentic living and authentic love. Many relationships we get involved in are substitutes, ersatz, to avoid loneliness, to feel secure or to boost our own self-worth. These are "games" based on ego. Look around. People love to live in the center of drama. They also usually think that the other person will have the power to fulfill their inner emptiness, that they will be the missing half of the orange, that through them they will become whole. But in Old Souls, there is something that longs for deep love that goes beyond melodrama and desire. You desire an intense relationship that is healthy, ready for sacrifices, while also being free, supportive, and non-oppressive. You desire honesty, authenticity, passion, empathy, true love, sincerity, and depth. You want to be seen, heard, understood, appreciated, and loved for who you are. You desire this because you are willing to give the same in return. Why is it difficult for Old Souls to find and create a truly satisfying relationship? ♦️1) AN OLD SOUL DESIRES LOVE THAT IS MORE THAN JUST "LIKING" We want uncompromising, real, deep love. And this word is one of the most overused in today's world, where we "love" bags, food, cars, phones instead of actually loving them. "Liking" is not a commitment. One day you may like one dish, another day a different one. Love is different. Liking is superficial, love goes deep. Liking is adoration for the outer form. Love is adoration for the soul and seeing beyond the outer form. Matching personalities is not enough. True love is more than liking someone or sharing similar interests. It is opening your heart and soul - even if it hurts. Accepting the possibility of opening old wounds, which gives a chance to heal them. Through openness and sensitivity, we have the courage and opportunity to love unconditionally. ♦️2) AN OLD SOUL DESIRES AUTHENTIC LOVE You desire a relationship that stimulates, gives courage, and appreciates mutual authenticity. You don't want to pretend or change who you are. You don't want to be with someone who will tolerate you enough to live with you, but someone who will add courage to further develop and show your truest, most authentic self. ♦️3) AN OLD SOUL DESIRES TEACHING LOVE Instead of someone who criticizes or rejects, you desire someone who will kindly show you how you can improve to continue growing. Deep down, your Old Soul knows that there is always something more to learn. One can argue that every relationship, every romance teaches us something, but usually it teaches us unconsciously, as a byproduct of the suffering it inflicts. Conscious learning is rare, valuable, and very difficult to find. ♦️4) AN OLD SOUL DESIRES LOVE THAT COMPLEMENTS FULLNESS AND PROVIDES FREEDOM If your happiness depends on another person, you lose your freedom to choose love and become a hostage. Old Souls want a partner who is happy and complete on their own, so they can share this fullness with us. If you enter a relationship out of "need" because you feel incomplete or fear loneliness, you are already dooming that relationship to failure. Old Souls know that a healthy relationship is based on the inner happiness of each side before entering into a relationship. We are spiritual beings having earthly experiences, and love deepens our sense of freedom and independence. It is a completely transcendental experience, to confine it within the cage of control and gender games is its denial. Melodrama, addiction, rules of what should or shouldn't be done, all this ego-centric approach to love is very unattractive to Old Souls. It makes it very difficult to find love. Old Souls know that others are also free spirits, and in order to experience love in a relationship, it is necessary to give the other person freedom. This requires courage and the ability to love the other person regardless of what they are doing or what they desire. ♦️5) AN OLD SOUL HAS THE ABILITY TO HEAL OTHERS, BUT... By nature, Old Souls attract people who need help. It is a natural instinct to offer help to those in need, but you also know how unwise it is to enter a relationship with the purpose of fixing/healing the other person. You don't want to be your partner's therapist seven days a week. You want to find someone who is in a similar place as you. ♦️6) OLD SOULS HAVE MANY WOUNDS The maturity of Old Souls comes from many traumatic experiences in many incarnations they have been through. They are often burdened with heavy karma. There are few people who are mature enough to be able to handle such baggage. ♦️7) AN OLD SOUL HAS A COMPLEX PERSONALITY We think a lot and have intense personalities. And you probably know as well as I do how difficult it is to find someone who can understand and adapt to such a complex identity. Old Souls search for Truth in a society based on money and material status, judging through the prism of possessions and superficial appearance. Our insight into the Nature of Reality can intimidate others. ♦️8) AN OLD SOUL DESIRES DEVOTION AND EFFORT Love needs nourishment, just like a burning fire. Words are empty if they are not complemented by action. Old Souls know that true love can only be expressed through shared action, effort, and devotion. ♦️9) AN OLD SOUL SEEKS A KINDRED SOUL LOVE Old Souls are not willing to settle for half-measures in the form of convenience, desire, artifice, shallow attraction, a sense of security, or "keeping each other company." We desire someone who values similar values and is a spiritual companion, someone who is a kindred soul. ♦️10) OLD SOULS NEED MORE THAN SEXUAL COMPATIBILITY Desire and sex may be temporarily attractive but become shallow and short-lived when they become the sole focus. We enjoy sex, but we desire more than
