Physical activity of children.
Children's physical activity
Physical activity of a child from an early age gives him many benefits.
Develops the child's motor skills - i.e. all kinds of skills:
- walk
- run
- climbing
- movements adapted to overcome obstacles
- throwing
- catching
- jumping
- digging
- swimming
- coordination
- balance
- speed
- agility
You probably already understand that this learning affects the entire adolescence and further life of your child. By taking up physical activity, your child acquires various types of motor skills. Fortunately - most children move completely spontaneously and willingly, because it is their natural need. If the child does not take any activities, this is a serious signal for the parent. This may be related to, for example, overweight (or even obesity - unfortunately, an increasingly common problem also in Polish children).
You've probably heard many times that someone has a so-called. talent for a sport. Well, this is due to the fact that he just moved in a certain way earlier and when he starts training a sport, his previous skills correlate with a given discipline and additionally develop. Example? A child who naturally likes to run starts playing football. The running skills acquired so far, e.g. speed, coordination, the ability to quickly change the direction of running, etc., give the young player an advantage. If the technical skills of a given discipline (in this situation, ball control) also reach a good level, then he will be very good at this activity.
The activity of children is not about making them athletes by force. In most cases, we care primarily about the healthy development of the child's motor skills and basic motor skills. A fitter, healthier and stronger child is a smiling, happy and self-confident child.
The mental aspect is also extremely important - building a healthy self-esteem, willingness to compete with others in the positive sense of the word, building relationships with peers ... And many other aspects of this type show us how comprehensively it affects our children.
You don't have to be a coach for your child right away. Sometimes it's enough that you just actively do something together with him :) It's worth running with your children, jumping on a trampoline, riding bikes, playing team games, etc. The greater the variety of activities, the better, because your child will acquire various skills.
Are you from Warsaw and do you want your child to exercise with his head and have fun at the same time? I invite you for a free consultation to an intimate training studio in the city center. Children from 6 years and up.
