How to quit sweets and be more motivated?
"There are different ways. In the long run, the formation of habits supported by willpower. BUT There are shortcuts. A few principles and slowly you can Win with it! 1. Regular hydration because the brain confuses craving for sweets with thirst. Try it! When you start feeling a craving for chocolate, drink 2-3 glasses of water. 2. Increase consumption of vegetables. Why? Because the fiber in them causes a feeling of satiety for longer, which alleviates cravings for sweets. 3. Fruits plus snacking on nuts also increase the feeling of satiety like vegetables, which alleviates cravings for sweets. 4. Eat healthy fats, like avocado or nuts. They balance the levels of insulin and leptin. These hormones "call" for sugar. 5. Replace dopamine with endorphins through training, exercise. Sweets generate the former, and we generate the latter through exercise. Both give us a feeling of happiness, but through different ways. Okay, these 5 principles will help you "DE-SUGAR" and increase MOTIVATION. Why? Because the first step to being motivated is a healthy body that generates energy and we will have more of it when we "de-sugar" and the cycle closes. Successful "de-sugaring" and have a great weekend!"
