The government of Kazakhstan plans to double its investments in cryptocurrency mining
Kazakhstan officials revealed the national plan for the development of the digital currency to experts from Russia and China during the "Astana Finance Day 2020". According to the data of the Chinese Ministry of Commerce as of July 1, Kazakhstan plans to double its investments in the extraction of digital currencies by the end of this year, as well as to continue the development of the central bank's digital currency.
According to the report, the digital currency mining project in Kazakhstan has generated 82.6 million Tenge, which is approximately $ 20 million. In 2020, the scale of this investment will increase by 80 million Tenge.
