Working time in 2023.

The last quarter of the year is the time when we think more and more often about the next year, plan schedules and work schedules, and plan holidays. The year 2023 is not a leap year and only one Independence Day - November 11 falls on Saturday, for which the employer will set employees another day off in the settlement period adopted by him (e.g. monthly or e.g. three-month). As a reminder, the basis for such actions is 130 § 2 of the Labor Code, which says that "Each holiday occurring in the settlement period and falling on a day other than Sunday shall reduce the working time by 8 hours". We will have 250 days off, 13 holidays, (7 are weekdays, 6 are weekends. Next year we will work 8 hours shorter than in 2022, it will be a total of 2000 man-hours, so 250 working days. * * The distribution of working days in 2023 is thus as follows: ** January - 21 days - 168 hours February - 20 days - 160 hours March - 23 days - 184 hours (the busiest month of the year) April - 19 days - 152 hours (in April 4 April and 5 April is Easter) May - 21 days - 168 hours June - 21 days - 168 hours July - 21 days - 168 hours August - 22 days - 176 hours September - 21 days - 168 hours October - 22 days - 176 hours November - 20 days - 160 hours (including the Saturday 11th day off) December - 19 days - 152 hours _____________________________________ Norms, general working hours, working time schedules, etc. are regulated by the Labor Code, Chapter VI (Journal of Laws 2022.1510), update from 1 September 2022
