From camels to Wi-Fi: Nomads always on the move in every era!
Once upon a time, in a distant, unspecified time, Caravan of Camels Inc. met with Wi-Fi Wanderers Inc. at the intersection of times, where the past was loading into the present.
The Caravan of Camels, serious men in turbans with sand-covered camels, always followed the stars. Their lives were a series of oases and desert storms, without Google Maps, only stars above their heads. "Let's go where the star leads us!" they shouted when one of the stars seemed to wink at them cheerfully.
On the other hand, the Wi-Fi Wanderers, equipped with the latest gadgets, power banks, and reliable roaming data plans, tracked every step through GPS, and their camps were always where the signal was the best. "Let's check on Yelp where the nearest cafe with good espresso and fast internet is!" - this was their way of orientation in the area.
One day, both groups decided to have a joint camp. The camels were disoriented - they had never seen people using something as small as smartphones before. Meanwhile, the digital nomads were intrigued by how one could survive the journey without access to Spotify.
During the evening campfire, experiences were exchanged. The camel drivers talked about surviving a sandstorm, while the digital nomads advised on how to save battery on the phone.
"Do you know that stars also have their reviews? Five stars for the Great Bear for excellent orientation to the north!" joked one of the camel drivers. "And I give five stars to my favorite VPN, which allows me to watch my favorite series even in the Gobi!" retorted one of the digital nomads.
Ultimately, both groups agreed that regardless of whether you follow the stars or GPS, it is important to always be on the road and never stop exploring. And although their paths were different, the goal was the same - seeking adventure, freedom, and, of course, good signal.
