White chocolate block
Chocolate block with powdered milk is an integral part of our holidays. Until now, I made it in a traditional way with cocoa. I inherited the recipe from my mom. BUT today I came across a chocolate block made with white chocolate. It intrigued me so much that this time, for the holidays, I will make it in a new version. Below, I share the recipe, if anyone wants to make it in a new version like me. After the holidays, I will gladly read your taste impressions and opinions on which one is better.
Ingredients: package of powdered milk, 120g of butter, 100ml of water, 200g of white chocolate, 1/2 cup of sugar, 90g of biscuits, 1/2 cup of dried cranberries.
Preparation method: In a saucepan, place the chocolate, water, sugar, and butter. Heat on low heat until the butter and chocolate are melted. Then add the powdered milk and mix well to prevent lumps. Mix in the cranberries and crushed biscuits. Line a "kekesówka" pan with parchment paper or plastic wrap, fill with the mixture and smooth the top. Refrigerate overnight.
