The school had a "special apartment" in its resources where correct table etiquette was taught.

When Copernicus Junior High School opened in 1932, it contained a fully functioning apartment to help teach students proper homemaking techniques. This was especially helpful for the new immigrants learning the American way of life. Last time we checked, the apartment was still there.
