What exactly is a bull market? The definition says that the phenomenon occurs when the prices of stocks, commodities and securities on the stock market increase and for an extended period of time. The main indices of a given stock exchange undergo an increase.
As far as the bull market is concerned, it refers to the prosperity of the whole market, but it is also often spoken about in the context of increases in one instrument or a group of instruments. This concept also applies to currency pairs. It is assumed that the bull market on the stock exchange takes place when increases concern as much as 75% of the companies listed on it.
What is worth noting here is that the bull market can last for many months or even years. Increases are long-lasting, which is connected with higher activity of investors.
