In my opinion, Bitcoin will be the strongest and most popular cryptocurrency for a long time to come. Of course, there are many other altcoins that are more technologically advanced, but most of them have completely different functions than Bitcoin. I honestly think that in the future bitcoin will be more and more common and used as normal money, but decentralized, independent of governments and banks. The only option for bitcoin to disappear is to make it illegal worldwide, but that would really upset people and I don't think things will turn out that way.
