From the top, it is not always possible to predict. Sometimes only after the fact can we see whether we could have influenced one outcome or another. It is easier to distinguish it then. So, it happens that we have a strong influence on things that do not depend on us, and we give up on those over which we can have an impact. Life is not easy...

Distinguishing, of course. But life shows us that a given situation can change very quickly.

The most important thing is not to burden ourselves with worries about things we cannot control and to accept it calmly in order not to add unnecessary distress over things we have no real influence on.

this is how it works worst when you make decisions quickly - it's already a lost cause from the beginning, you have to take a step back and think (but there is not always time for that) and the loop closes....

I always try to think and decide for myself. Nevertheless, when I can no longer do something, I treat it as a matter of course and wait for the situation to develop, calculating so that in every situation it is always best for me.

When it comes to investing, I have 100% certainty over what I have influence on, and what I do not.

I have influence over costs:
*_investment management,
*_transactional and ancillary costs,
*_tax and tax losses.

I have 100% no influence over current and future behaviors of financial and capital markets.

The consequence of this awareness is the development of a way in which I invest my own capital and what investment strategy I employ.
