Excess or addiction to various things such as alcohol, sex, shopping, gambling, etc., has an adverse effect on our health. Moderation is key, and consistently adhering to it has a positive impact on our lives. Returning to the topic of honesty, I no longer want to be any different. I can look at myself in the mirror without fear and listen to my conscience. I am not perfect and make mistakes, but I know that there are certain boundaries I will not cross because it would be harmful and unhealthy for me. Without God, I would not have what I have now. The Bible is full of riches, wisdom, and remedies for diseases and problems. A simple quote from the Letter to the Corinthians: "Everything is permissible for me, but not everything is beneficial. Everything is permissible for me, but I will not be mastered by anything." This sentence expresses immense wisdom and reaches each of us through simple words. Tax fraud, exploitation by banks, fare evasion, politicians' lies, media manipulation, purchasing fake documents or diplomas, saying "I love you" just to spend a night with someone, slandering others, embellishing words, cheating at work, pretending to be ill to avoid responsibilities – the list goes on. All of these and many other cases are simply lies, which for me are equally bad and unacceptable. For myself and for others, I have decided to be honest. I rarely have trouble falling asleep, I laugh a lot and enjoy life, and my mind and soul are healthy. This also has a positive impact on my physical well-being. There is no magic in life, life is not complicated unless we complicate it ourselves. We all have real freedom of choice, which is given to us by the Lord God. God loves us unconditionally and went to the Cross to help us. He experienced what every person must go through. He took upon himself our sins and diseases, suffered immensely, but only once did he rebel on the Cross: "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" God never abandons us, although it may sometimes seem that way. He allows all random and bad events that we experience to give us a chance for change. I do not know the reasons for the difficulties that have appeared and continue to appear in my life.
