Нарешті ми дочекалися якогось золотого медалю на олімпійських іграх. Чому так є, що така велика країна з такою великою популяцією, яка вважає себе винятковою (принаймні таке враження я отримую, коли слухаю різні думки в інтернеті) не в змозі підготувати більше спортсменів на найвищому світовому рівні. Чи це вина суспільства? Держави? Системи навчання? Адже у нас є чимало грошей і високоякісних тренерів. Чи не можна це якось перетворити на більше успіхів? Думаю, що якби був якийсь кращий міністр спорту, який би подумав над довгостроковим розвитком наших спортсменів і системи навчання, то ми б мали набагато кращі результати на світовому рівні в кожній галузі.
Звичайно, це не сталося б з дня на день, але через кілька років можна було б вже, напевно, побачити якісь значні результати. Такі маленькі країни, як Нідерланди, Угорщина чи Румунія, якось здатні здобувати більше медалей, ніж ми. І це не пов'язано з наявністю більше грошей, адже Румунія та Угорщина не є більш заможними за нас.

We should have some system in the country for holding such people accountable after such catastrophic results as this year. Where is the Minister of Sport? Why is no one taking this on?
I hope that one day a party will come to power that will want to do something good for Poland and not just for themselves. For now, there seems to be only the Confederation that would give a bit of hope for such changes. However, they have too little support to achieve anything. To be honest, I am keeping my fingers crossed for them because they bring a new quality to our politics and thanks to them there is still some hope for improving this sick system that we have had for decades.
