I have been working with sandwich panels for many years. In general, this system is the most popular in industrial construction. The advantage of this solution is the speed and ease of installation. It is a kind of dry construction system, so with a ready building structure, panels can be mounted relatively quickly regardless of temperatures and weather conditions. Another advantage is the good insulation parameters, with a relatively small thickness of the partition. When constructing a building using this technology, attention should be paid to the correct installation of the ventilation system. The construction creates a tightly closed object, so in the case of people staying inside, this is particularly important. The downside of sandwich panels is low acoustic insulation, especially when filled with polyurethane. When using panels in a residential building, the best solution will be a panel with a mineral wool core. Another downside is that a building made of sandwich panels will not provide such a microclimate inside as traditional masonry or wooden technology. As for the price, it can be assumed to be approximately 180 PLN/m2 for materials (panels + sheet metal work + mounting accessories) with installation (to a previously made structure).
