In my humble opinion, we are waiting for interesting new solutions. Current messengers do not offer 100% data leak security. Such mistakes happen to everyone. Personally, I use Telegram, WhatsApp, Messenger, Signal for conversations, and Zoom or Google Meet for meetings.

The choice of an internet messenger depends on many factors, such as user needs, security level, functionality, and privacy preferences. Here are a few popular messengers worth considering:

WhatsApp - One of the most popular messengers in the world, offering end-to-end encryption. It also allows for voice and video calls, as well as sharing photos and documents. The most dangerous because... the most well-known ;)

Signal - Known for its high level of security and privacy protection. All messages are encrypted end-to-end by default, and the application does not store user data. Ideal for people who prioritize privacy. But also already cracked.

Telegram - Provides message encryption and allows for creating large groups and channels, making it popular among large communities and organizations. Telegram also offers "secret chats", which are protected by additional encryption and allow for message self-destruction. I recommend the only Premium version.

Discord - Very popular among gamers, but increasingly used in other contexts as well. Discord offers text, voice, and video chats, as well as screen sharing and game streaming. Not recommended.

Microsoft Teams - Ideal for companies and organizations that need a tool integrating communication and collaboration. Teams offer chats, video calls, and integration with the Microsoft Office suite. Only for heavily corporate work.

Slack - Like Teams, Slack is mainly aimed at business users, offering advanced tools for teamwork collaboration and integration with many external applications.

Google Meet - Google rebranded its Hangouts Meet tool to Google Meet, offering solid video call features that are well integrated with other Google services.

For family and business use, I recommend Signal.

Signal offers encrypted text communication, encrypted voice calls, and encrypted video calls. It also allows for sending attachments. The messages sent are encrypted using end-to-end encryption.

I would avoid WhatsApp, Messenger, Skype, where your data, contacts may be passed on to the "big brother", read, and then categorized based on them.

I would recommend sending to e.g. Business contacts (recommended by a large group of investors)
