Kucoin is a Hong Kong-based crypto exchange. The creators of the exchange focus on providing cryptocurrency exchange services in a safe and convenient way. 

The KuCoin exchange uses its own crypto KuCoin Shares (KCS), whose tokens are based on Ethereum. KCS holders can count on bonuses in the form of daily dividends, trading discounts and low withdrawal fees.

Additionally, with KuCoin Shares in their portfolio, a user of the exchange is automatically qualified for special promotions, offers and prizes.

In my opinion it's very nice exchange. You don't need to do KYC if you don't want to withdraw fiat currencies.

It require KYC if you want to change crypto for fiats. Actually every exchange require KYC to withdraw real money.

For me it is a safe place to trade. Even when recently they had a hack and funds were lost. I had some of these hacked tokens on wallet exchange. But the hack does not impact the users wallets because they covered all of loses.

I use this exchange every day and have never had problems with it. In my opinion, it is one of the safer and trusted exchanges that exist now

I think this exchange is safe, however if I were you, I would use binance. However some projects are available only in KuCoin. KYC is obligatory in every centralised exchange by European Union and a lot of country for example US.
