Gail Kobe was one of the most successful entertainers to come from Hamtramck. She even had her own trading card. It featured her in an episode of the classic TV show The Twilight Zone entitled “The Self-Improvement of Salvatore Ross.” Kobe starred in a multitude of movies and TV shows and also was a highly successful producer of TV soap operas. She died in 2013, and left her files of professional mementoes to the Hamtramck Historical Museum.
